Death of Miss Ruby Frye.
Ruby Frye, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frye, died at the home of her parents in Kansas City at an early hour Monday morning after a lingering illness of consumption.
Ruby was born in Monroe county, near Greenwood church, December 16, 1887. In 1896 her parents moved to Shelbina where she grew to lovable womanhood and made a large circle of friends. She graduated from the Shelbina High School with the class of 1907, and is the second one of the class to be called from the activities of life to enter eternal rest, Margaret Rice being the other.
In the spring of 1908 Ruby moved with her parents to Kansas City, where she resided until death claimed her. She was converted and united with the Methodist church of this city in December, 1900, in a meeting held by Rev. R. F. Campbell. The father and mother and four brothers, Harry, Jack, James and Paul, survive and have the sympathy of their many friends in this community in this hour of great sorrow in their home.
The remains accompained by the family, arrived here Monday night. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. J. N. Boyd, were held at the home of Wm. Hart Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in the Odd Fellows cemetery of this city.
