Rosa Lavada Baggett, 88, of Crystal Lake, FL passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016.
She was born August 21, 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia to Marcus "Martin" and Rose Baggett. She was a retired educator.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mae Alma Richards.
She is survived by her two sisters, Sarah Vann Smith and Dottie Grace Bowling; nieces and nephews, William Van Smith, Vera Faye Smith, George Ivey, Charles Ivey, Rosa Pilitary, Nathan Smith, Rosemary Imler, Rebecca Skinner, Linda Cloer; special friend and caregiver, Tulita Pickens Owen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2 pm in the New Vision United Methodist Church in Greenhead, Florida with Pastor Larry Justice and Pastor Stephanie Cox officiating.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the New Vision United Methodist Church 2661 Blocker Church Rd, Chipley, FL 32428 in memory of Lavada Baggett.
