Gladys H Kurtz, 91, of Holland passed away on December 2, 2012 at Park Place Manor in Belton.

She was born on February 7, 1921 to Elo and Cora (Schuetze) Chollett.

Gladys married Wilferd "W.L." Kurtz on June 1, 1941 in Burlington.

She was a long time resident of Holland. She was a wonderful homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2008.

Survivors are her five sons, Weldon Kurtz and wife Cedelia, Harold Kurtz and wife Joan and Lloyd Kurtz and wife Peggy, all of Holland, Elton Ramthun and wife Pat of Gatesville and Darrell Kurtz and wife Sheila of Perasall; a daughter, Patsy Cross and husband Randy of Temple; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Gerngross and a brother, Harry Chollett.

A visitation was held in Goodnight Funeral Home of Bartlett on Tuesday December 4th 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Services will be held in the St. John Lutheran Church of Bartlett on Wednesday December 5th at 10:00am. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Memorials may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church of Bartlett or to the charity of choice.
