He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Richard C. Jakubowski of Hackettstown, NJ and Mrs. John B. Bruder of Drexel Hill, PA; one son, Michael J. Markulec Jr of Hamilton Square, NJ; 8 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Stephen Jackowski, Mrs. Stephanie Midura, Mrs. George Bacsik and Mrs. William Precinski, all of Trenton, NJ; and four brothers, Joseph, Walter and Edward Markulec, all of Trenton, NJ and Bernard Markulec of Pocomoke City, MD.
