Letha Hale
Charleston - Mrs. Letha B. Hale, 85, of Charleston died at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Charleston Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Caudill-King Funeral Home, Charlesotn, with Rev. Robert Hanrahan officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
She was born Nov. 30, 1891, the daughter of John and Matilda Rogers Brandenburg. She married Orla Bensley, who died in 1929. She later married Oren Hale in September of 1947 in St. Louis, Mo. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Granville Bensley of Charleston, one sister, Mrs. Edith Dowling of Paris; and one brother, Ross Brandenburg of Casey. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
