Born in Drehersville, PA on October 11, 1929, he was a son of the late William & Minnie (Stutzman) Bainbridge.
He was the widower of Betty (Kauffman) Bainbridge, who passed away September 24, 2011.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a son, Dean Kauffman, sisters; Dorothy Stotland, Annabelle Sowers, Jean Stauffer, & Billie Breiner, and a brother John Bainbridge.
Jim served in the U.S. Army in the the Korean War and was last employed as a knitter at Ashmore in Shoemakersville, PA, until retiring in 1997.
He was a member of Auburn Game and Fish Association, and the Port Clinton Fire Company.
