Mark Joseph Flynn, 58, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away August 24, 2012.

Mark was born June 18, 1954 in Wayne, Nebraska.

He was a clinical pharmacist, working most recently at North Kansas City Hospital. His passion was education and research in the field of pharmacy.

Mark was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. He was passionate about his family, friends and faith. It is this faithful devotion to the Lord that has carried him through life's challenges and joys.

Mark is survived by his wife, Jennifer Flynn; son, Sean Flynn; daughter, Sarah Flynn; parents, Don and Merlene Flynn of Madrid, Iowa; sister, Jeanne Holmes of Brownsburg, Indiana; brother, Paul of Bettendorf, Iowa; and sister, Julia Sheehy of Madrid, Iowa.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 28 at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 29 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 3105 West 135th Street, Leawood, Kansas.
