AGE 85 YEARS
Marlin C. Aucker, Sunbury Road, Danville, passed away Sunday, March 20th, 2016 at his home.
He was the son of the late Lester M. and Frances (Simons) Aucker. He married Lois C. Aucker and they celebrated 58 years of marriage until her death August 21, 2011.
Marlin served in the US Air Force, where afterwards he was a self-employed carpenter.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Turbotville where he was a former council member and taught Sunday school.
Marlin enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and dancing. He was loved by everyone he met.
Surviving are two sons: Rev. Dr. Kerry R., of Lock Haven and Kevin L. of Miton; One Brother Nelson of Selinsgrove; Two Step-Brothers Donald of Dewart and Leroy of Milton.
Preceding him in death besides his wife were a son: Terry L. Aucker; a brother: Jay Aucker; one step-brother Kenneth Hauck; and one step-sister Shirley Miller.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public viewing and a graveside service will be held at Turbotville Cemetery, with his son the Rev. Dr. Kerry Aucker, officiating.
