Susan J. Score touched the lives of many people in her 34 years. Miss Score, who suffered from Down syndrone, died Sunday in Westlake in a home for retarded adults, according to her mother, Nancy.
She loved to write poetry and wrote poignant poems centered around her relationship with God. "She loved life, and a lot of people will miss her," said her mother.
In addition to her mother, Miss Score is survived by her father, Herb; sisters, Mary Scott of Lakewood and Judy Ulmer of Arcadia, Calif.; a brother, David of Ventura, Calif.; six nieces and nephews; and a grandmother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 20141 Detroit Rd., Rocky River.
