Laquita Joy Stockman died April 27, 2006, at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple. The Lampasas resident was 73.
Funeral services are May 2 at 11 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Barnard officiating. Burial will be at Naruna Cemetery in Burnet County.
Mrs. Stockman was born September 19, 1932, in Florida, the daughter of Luther and Pearlie Greene Warren. She married Douglas Odell Stockman, Sr. in May 1952.
Mrs. Stockman was a member of the Naruna Baptist Church. She was retired from Civil Service, having worked as a Human Resource representative in the Civilian Personnel Office at Fort Hood.
She is survived by daughters, Nancy Kagan, Sandra Roberts, Donna Frazier and Kellie Lee; a sister, Sylvia Gratta of Florida; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
