Georgia Death Certificate: John B. Bilbro, died Aug. 9, 1931, Lindale, Georgia - cause: acute indigestion. He is listed as male, white, retired, married, age 56 (born about 1874), father: Mason Bilbro, mother: Francina Mason. Informant: W.M Bilbro, Gadsden, Alabama. Although the name of the father is inaccurate, it is believed this is John Berryman Bilbro. Data shared by FAG contributor ASMartin

As one can see the marker is more modern and likely placed there many years after the death of Mr. Bilbro. The Etowah County Historical erected the large monument for his father, Judge James Andrew Bilbro, and it might be possible that they added some of these markers as well. Also note that the Church of Latter Day Saints did a survey in the 1960's for all of Etowah County, Alabama and there were no markers for BILBRO in Forrest Cemetery, so this is proof that markers were added at a later date.
