Warren Dean Cooley, 85, died March 3, 2016, at Derby Health and Rehabilitation in Derby. Born Jan. 1, 1931, to Herman and Lucille Cooley, he had an older brother, Curtis, and little sister, Norma.
On April 22, 1951, Dean married Audrey Morehouse. They later welcomed two children. Dean worked at ANR Pipeline Co. in Enterprise and worked the family farm southeast of Abilene.
Dean had a great love for his family, his farm, church and his favorite Scripture, Phillipians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Dean lived in Derby for the past 12 years and was a member of Derby Church of Christ.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. April 1, at Derby Church of Christ, Derby. Burial will follow in Abilene.
