I.N. Blair Dead
Died - On Saturday, April 11, 1903, I.N. Blair, of quick consumption at the home of his son George, one mile east of St. Edward. The funeral service was held at 3 o'clock Sunday after noon by Rev. E. B. King, of the Methodist church, from the house. The deceased was born October, 1925, in Otsego Co, New York.
Fifty-two years ago he was married to Miss Elma Bates (Julia Alma Bates) who survives him. They came to Boone county twenty-four years ago. Four children
came to this union, DeWitt, of Elba, Nebraska, Franz, of Itics, Michigan, Mrs. Alice Markham of Riverton, Iowa, and George, of this place.
As one of the old settlers he helped to make this vicinity a pleasant place to live in and so his memory will be honored for it. The SUN joins in extending to the aged wife and children.
