Died. March 15, 1910, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Allen Weddle, about 5 miles southeast of Cainsville.

Mr. Jeremiah Stanley has resided many years, about 1 ¼ miles southeast of Cainsville. Mr. Stanley was born Sept. 19, 1853, being 56 years, 5 months and 26 days of age at the time of his death. He was stricken with paralysis one year ago last June from which he has been a sufferer until relieved by death.

He was united in marriage to Miss Eliza J. [Woodward] Kennedy, Oct. 12, 1873, and to this union 4 children were born, one having died in infancy. The three children living are Mrs. Viola May Peterson, Mrs. Anna Hart and Mrs. Mary Weddle.

Mr. Stanley united with the Cainsville Baptist church a number of years ago.

His first wife died several years ago, and he was again united in marriage to Mrs. Clara [Woodward] Spurling, Jan. 1st, 1905, who still survives him. Thus a loving companion, a kind neighbor, and an affectionate father has gone from us, but we hope to meet him in a brighter and better world than this, and may a loving Heavenly Father, bless and comfort the sorrowing once, is the prayer o a friend and Brother.

Funeral service by the writer at the home of Bro. Stanley, after which the body was tenderly laid to rest by the side of this first wife in the Zoar cemetery, there to await the resurrection of the Just.
