Genevieve helped her husband, Cecil operate their family business, Hobart's Garage until 1971. She was a member of the Glenwood United Methodist Church, she enjoyed being outdoors, farming and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil H. Hobart; daughter, Phyllis Simpson; granddaughter, Carin Deering; brother, Roy Davis; and sisters, Mary Doolittle and Evelyn Smith.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Samuel Simpson of Erie; grandchildren, Cindy Groninger (Frank) of Camp Hill, Pa. and Cathy Bodamer (Tom) of Titusville, Pa.; sister-in-law, Florence Davis; eight great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
