Mr. Alexander, of Bergen, who was the first ever basketball coach at Roberts Wesleyan College, was a son of William & Ethel Gill Alexander.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Balch Alexander, who he married Jan. 1, 1945; 5 sons, Davdi D. (Barbara) Alexander, K. Scott (Margaret) Alexander, B. Bradley Alexander, B. Todd Alexander and L. Lance (Kathleen) Alexander; a daughter, Ruth A. (Mark) Logan; a sister, Kathryn L. Alexander; 3 sisters-in-law, Evelyn Frederick, Eloise Alexander and Lucile Alexander; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was a brother of the late Robert, Harold and Stuart Alexander and Eleanor Freislich.
