ANDERSON - Mrs. Virginia J. Anderson, 65, 2311 Lawndale Ave., died at 1:10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 1980, in her home after a brief illness. Born March 24, 1915, in Rockford, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Gair. Lived most of her life in Rockford. Married Clinton Anderson in Rockford, May 2, 1942. Employed as a bookkeeper and secretary by various firms in Winnebago County, including Winnebago County (Winn-Rock) Credit Union, retiring four years ago. Member Bethel United Church of Christ. Graduate Hononegah High School, Rockton in 1934 and Brown's Business College, Rockford. Predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Barbara Allaben in 1876. Survivors include her husband, Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
Services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, in LONG-KLONTZ FUNERAL HOME, 428 Park Ave., with the Rev. Ronald E. Pribyl, pastor, St. John United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m,. A memorial has been established at the Bethel church
