Mary Etta was born in McCalmont Township the daughter of William R. and Anna (Tyson) Evans. She was married to Henry Alfred Grube (1859-1920) on December 24, 1883.
She died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Steigers, of Ashland Ave.
Survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Calvin B. Himes, William and Ned Grube, and Mrs. Frank Steigers of this city; Lindsey Grube of DuBois; Mrs. Oren E. (Ora L.) Rodkey of Diamondville and John R. Grube of New Bethlehem. Thirteen grandchildren and nine great-gradnchildren.
