William Francis Qualls Sr., 78 slipped quietly from this life into the next on July 26, 1997.
Bill was born September 30, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the son of Meride Lee Qualls and Martha Eva Newcomer, he was the third of five children. He married Vivian Irene Douglas April 9, 1939. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a devoted husband and father. He was also co-owner of Qualls Market.
Survived by his wife, Vivian, daughter, Pat Smith; son, Bill Jr. (Claudia) also survived by six grandchildren; Jeri, Jeff, Todd, Brian, John and Ashley and six great-grandchildren; Allie, Tyler, Travis, Abbie, Kacie and Hudson. Also survived by two sisters; Peg O'Neil, Pat (Paul) Heeding, and brother, Lee (Mick) Qualls. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gale Qualls.
We will miss his wonderful smile.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 30, 1997 at 11 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services at the Mortuary on Wednesday. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
