Nancy J. (Frederick) Zakrzewski, 81, formerly of Leechburg, died Monday, June 5, 2006, at the Alle Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights.
She was born Sept. 21, 1924, in Brackenridge to the late Walter and Evelyn (Page) Frederick.
She was a homemaker and also a member of the Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Leechburg.
She was also a member of the Elks Auxiliary of Leechburg, The Monday Evening Club and a Bloodmobile volunteer.
Her interests included playing bingo, cooking, and baking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore F. "Ted" Zakrzewski Sr., who died Sept. 2, 1998; and two sisters, Mary Rew and Eleanor Barr.
She is survived by her three sons, James R. Zakrzewski (Carol), of Key West, Fla., Donald L. Zakrzewski (Karen), of Natrona Heights, Theodore F. Zakrzewski Jr. (Debra), of New Kensington; a brother, Walter Frederick (Barbara), of Allegheny Township; and a sister, Margaret Goedicke, of Leechburg; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends will be welcomed by her family at 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of ceremonies at 1 p.m. at CLAWSON'S, Second at Main Street, Leechburg, with the Rev. Richard P. Grance, interim pastor, officiating. Interment following in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
