[I believe that Jacob Miller was born 10-24-1745. He is mentioned in Thomas Atkins book "The History of Middlefield and Long Hill" pub about 1882-following Thomas death at age 85. Thomas knew Jacob Miller. Jacob Miller was a Patriot- serving as a soldier in the Rev War- as outlined in Henry P Johnston's book-pub in 1889. Jacob converted a grist mill of his father's to a sawmill, and also did some cloth fabric milling. -courtesy GFerguson]
