MESA, Arizona-Gladys D. Moulding Schwendiman passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2008 in Mesa, Arizona having reached the age of 83.

She was born in Ogden, one of ten children of William S. and Mabel G. Alexander. She was raised in Ogden where she spent most of her wonderful life. She later moved to Salt Lake City and finally, Mesa, Arizona.

Gladys was married to Lee Montgomery, Robert Moulding, Sterling King, and Lynn Schwendiman. They all preceded her in death.

She was generous, fun loving, and was always young at heart. She was looking forward to being reunited with her loved ones that had gone before her. She will be missed by all who loved and cherished her.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Lee Moulding, Lakewood, WA; and her daughter and son-in-law, Shirlene "Dusty" and Bill LaNoue, Mesa, AZ. She was proud of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her sister, Shirley Alexander, Sylmar, CA; and her brother, John "Jack" Alexander, Ogden.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road in South Ogden.

A memorial celebration and luncheon will follow the services at the home of her nephew and niece, David and Kay Alexander, located at 4979 Skyline Drive, South Ogden.

The family is grateful for the excellent care by the doctors, nurses and staff at Banner Hospital, the gentle and loving care at the Good Shepherd Care Center, and the kindness of Banner Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the American Lung Association.
