Adell Sadie Plemons
February 22, 1933 - March 15, 2016

Mrs. Adell Sadie Warren Plemons, age 83, of Rome, passed away Tuesday,
March 15, 2016, at Oxton Place of Rome.
Mrs. Plemons was born in Floyd County on February 22, 1933, daughter of the
late Jackson Albert Warren and the late Ada Mae Catlett Warren.
She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harvey and Lewis Warren.
After having been employed for a number of years with Integrated Products and
Trend Mill, Mrs. Plemons retired from Florida Tile following several years of
employment.
She was a member of Wax Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in
the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband, Ervin Plemons, to whom she was married on
July 30, 1949; 2 daughters, Ann Plemons Rogers, and her husband, Greg,
Cedartown, and Vickie Plemons Haney, and her husband, Brentt, Aragon; a son,
Jimmy Ervin Plemons, Rome; a sister, Elizabeth Mae Plemons, Aragon; 6
grandchildren, Cassie Shuman, and her husband, Jason, Cedartown, Lee Rogers,
and his wife, April, Lindale, Stephanie Holtzclaw, Aragon, Robin Land, Rome,
Brad Plemons, Rome, and Lacey Haney, Marietta; 8 great grandchildren, nieces
and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2016, at 2pm in the Chapel at
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Dirk Gaylor and
the Rev. Gary Diggs officiating.
Interment will follow in Flint Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South
Chapel, on Thursday from 5 until 7pm.
At other hours, they may be contacted at the residence of a daughter, Ann
Rogers.
Pallbearers are requested to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home,
South Chapel, on Friday at 1:30pm and include:
Greg Rogers, Lee Rogers, Jason Shuman, Brentt Haney, Hunter Chastain, and
Clifton Plemons.
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of the funeral arrangements.
