He was born February 11, 1934 at Neelys Landing son of Harry and Alpha Craft McClard. Harry married Judy Crites on September 6, 1958.
He worked as a farmhand during the early years of his life then went to work as a maintenance worker for the former Thorngate Mfg. Company in Cape Girardeau. Harry was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and enjoyed watching their games.
Loving survivors include his wife Judy, of 57 years; one son, Mike McClard of Jackson; one daughter, Janet (LeRoy) Barnett of Perryville; and one granddaughter, Cassidy McClard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond McClard, four sisters, Allene Helderman, Irene Hodge, Martha Golden, and Shelby Jean Erlbacher, and three infant siblings, Ada Lucille McClard, J.D. McClard, and Mary Ann McClard.
