News was received by friends this morning of the death of Miss Dell Austin which occurred in the hospital at Des Moines after a six month’s illness. Miss Austin was a graduate of the O.B.U., and has many friends who will grieve to learn of her early demise. She was employed as a stenographer in Des Moines up to the time of her illness. The remains arrived in the city Tuesday morning and were taken to Stanley where the funeral will occur Wednesday afternoon from the home of her sister, Mrs. Clara Ducket, northeast of that place.
