Funeral Services For Mrs. Tanner
Services were held Monday, December 13, for Mrs. Mollie Elizabeth Tanner, 90, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Claxton, on December 11 after a lengthy illness.
A native of Crenshaw, Ala., she had been a resident of George County for the past 11 years.
Rites were conducted from the Gravel Hill Baptist Church with interment in the Black Rock Cemetery. Fails Funeral Service of Lucedale and Duncan Funeral Home of Greenville, Ala., were in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. George Claxton of Lucedale and Mrs. Pearl Acreman of Winter Haven, Fla.; three sons, Clarence Tanner of Montgomery, Ala., Marvin Tanner and Lawrence Tanner of Lavern, Ala.
