Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Greenhaven Cemetery for Charles J Crites of132 Olive Street, Girard, who died at his residence Tuesday Morning. He was the son of the late Aaron and Lodie Smeal Crites and was a self employed truck driver for 52 years, retiring in 1991. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
Surviving are 3 daughters; Cheryl Gerback of Girard, Donna Jean Sbandi of Winchester, Va, Mary Lou Hartman of Struthers, one brother James Rhodes of Rogers, Ohio, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving is his grandson William Crites who was his caregiver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Rosenberger, whom he married July 9, 1951, and died in 1998, one son Charles Jr., 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
