Rites for Mrs. Perry Hunt at Hadley Today

Loretta Estella Hunt, widow of Perry Hunt, died at the home of her son, Ray Hunt, Tuesday night. She suffered a fall, April 30, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wendell Hadley, resulting in a broken hip. For six weeks she was a patient in St. Vincent's hospital, following which she was taken to the home of her son.

Her parents were Matthias and Matilda Hadley, and her birthplace near Pecksburg, September 21, 1863. Her entire life was spent in this county. August 20, 1882, she became the wife of Perry Hunt. She was a member of the Hadley Friends church.

Three children, Mrs. Fauna Vannice, Mrs. Wendell Hadley and Ray Hunt, all of Danville, three sisters, Mrs. Miles Furnas of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Leora Harvey of Danville, Mrs. Fred Shirley of Amo, and two brothers, Orien Hadley of Amo, and Orvis Hadley of Lynn, survive.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Hadley Friends church, in charge of Rev. John Hadley of Plainfield, with burial in the Hadley cemetery.
