Son of A. H. (Amos Harrison) and Elinor Robinson Barr, he married Sara M. Wolfe, was a programmer at CPT Co, lived at 423 Liberty Street, Franklin, died in Franklin Hospital of a cerebral apoplexy due to coronary occlusion 4/63, hypertension, and generalized arteriosclerosis, per death certificate 113184-67, whose informant was his wife, and gives birth date of Feb 16 1916. E. Robinson Barr, 51, of 423 Liberty Street, died at 1:50 pm Monday in Franklin Hospital where he was admitted early Sunday. Son of A. H. and Elinor Robinson Barr, he was born in Hinton, WV, Feb. 16, 1916.

He came to Franklin in 1928, graduated from Franklin High School in 1934, started at the CPT (Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co) in 1935 as apprentice machinist, and was a programmer in the industrial engineering department of the CPT at the time of his death. An active member of St. John's Episcopal Church, he had served two terms as a member of the Vestry, was a lay leader, and taught in church school many years. He was a member of the CPT Quarter Century Club, and president elect of the CPT Management Club. His interest and work in the Civic Operetta Association was well known, and he was a member of the board of directors.

On Dec. 10, 1938, he married Sara M. Wolfe, and she survives, with a son, Capt. James Robinson Barr, serving with the US Army in Frankfurt, Germany; and a daughter, Mrs. Richard J. (Susan Margaret) Olchak, Baltimore, MD.

Services will be at 2 pm Thursday in St. John's Church with Rev. Reginald E. Moore officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
