She married Harry Norman Gould on April 9, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan at her sister's home. They had a daughter and a son. In 1972 she married Joseph "Ed" Cornelius and lived in New Orleans and Houston. Pat loved to read and was never found without a book nearby. She also loved reading about Egyptian antiquities. She particularly loved cats and almost always had one cat who shared her home. Later in her life, she was reunited with a son whom she had given up for adoption. This unexpected reunion was a blessing to both her and that "little" boy. Her children will miss her.
