Charles S. Baldwin, 30, a railroad brakeman, was killed at Barberton, OH, last Saturday. He was born in Brownsville.
Most of his life was spent at Cleveland and Meadville. He had been working for the Pennsylvania Railroad for a year, and was killed in the discharge of his duties.
He leaves his mother, Mrs. T. R. Font, of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Carl Patterson of Meadville; and an aunt, Mrs. S. C. Shaffer of Franklin.
Committal services were at Franklin Cemetery, conducted by Rev. S. V. Carmany. A delegation of 20 members of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, accompanied the body here from Meadville.
