Martha J. (Bryant) Murray, 77, Martinsville, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
She was born on Tuesday, December 13, 1938 in Martinsville, Indiana, to the late Otis and Minnie Ellen (Northern) Byrant.
Martha was a 1957 graduate of Martinsville High School. She worked and retired from Harman Becker, which was originally Harman-Motive. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo.
Surviving are her children, Mark Murray and wife Stacy, Tammy Huffman and husband Richard, Cheryl Forney and husband Bill and Crystal Hyatt all of Martinsville; siblings, Richard Bryant, Bob Bryant, Ronnie Bryant, Russell Bryant, Esther Martin, Janie Wilson, Rena Geissman and Shirley Summers; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Murray, whom she married on February 1, 1964 and he passed away on October 17, 2014; and a brother, Lloyd Bryant.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Costin Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Aldridge officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Private burial will be on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Nebo Memorial Park.
