Albert V. Agens, age 88, of Franklin, NY, formally of Hackettstown, NJ died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Fox Care Nursing Home of Oneonta, NY.
Albert was born August 31, 1924 in Waterloo, NJ. He is the son of the late Eugene and Lucy (Bird) Agens.
He was employed by Union Local #254, Edison, NJ as a Carpenter. Albert enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening.
He is survived by his wife: Florence (Mansfield) Agens at home; two daughters Patricia Heinrich and husband Walter, and Barbara Bullock; grandaughter & grandson, Kristen And Daniel Groover; grandson & wife, David Bullock & Bonnie; Grandaughter , Cheryl Bullock; Step Grandchildren, Becky Quick, & Steven & Kimberly Heinrich; Step Great Grandchildren, Victoria & Madison.
A graveside service and burial will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Stanhope Union Cemetery, Waterloo Road, Stanhope, NJ
Calling hours will be Friday, February 1 from 12:30-1:30PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.
