MRS. ARTHUR BORGER
Mrs. Abbie R. Borger, 79, 2010 Grand Avenue, died at 1:50 a.m., today at the Lincoln Lodge Nursing Home, where she had been a patient since February 9.
Born in Rush County on April 7, 1901, she was one of six children of Joseph and Anna Volk Humig, and came to Connersville at the age of twelve from Oak Forest.
She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and a charter member of the Daughters of Isabelle.
On August 18, 1924, she married Arthur Borger, who preceded her in death June 5, 1966.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Agnes) Kaiser of Connersville, Mrs. Finley (Joan) Richardson, R.R.5, Connersville and Mrs. Werner (Alice Marie) Nobbe of Richmond; a son, Ralph Borger of Connersville; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; a twin sister, Mrs. Hilda Hill of Indianapolis, a sister, Mrs. Ida Amberger of Morris, Ind.; and two brothers, Aaron Humig of Connersville and Herbert Humig of Falmouth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert, who died in 1948; and a brother, Paul Humig.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. VIsitation will be a tMiller Funeral Hime after 4 p.m. Sunday, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Dale Cemetary.
