The death of Mr. Sneed was very sudden. It was noticed when he was taken from the train here he was in a critical condition but his illness was thought to be only temporary. His advanced age and weakened condition were against him and he sank rapidly. His death was caused from heart trouble and acute pneumonia. He was 74 years old.
The decedent was a former resident of Livingston County, having resided on a farm in Sampsel township until about ten years ago when he moved with his family to Oklahoma, settling on a farm seven miles south of Pawnee, where he had since resided." The Chillicothe Constitution, November 1, 1910
