Frederick W. Pressley, 74, of Overland, Kan., died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 at Homestead of Leawood, Leawood, Kan.
He was born in Perry County to the late George Fred Pressley and Lee Jean (Lesh) Smith.
He was a retired Army Air Force veteran.
Surviving are a son, Michael of Lake City, S.C.; two daughters, Patricia Galloway of Atlanta, Ga., and Anna Jones of Gainesville, Ga.; a half-sister, Anna Smith Payne of New York, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a half-sister, Marion Wilcox.
Services were held Feb. 28 in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Newport. Burial was in Eshcol Cemetery.
David M. Myers Funeral Home, Newport, handled arrangements.
