Mrs. Elsie P. Baker, 15- Year Resident Of Boise, Succumbs
Mrs. Elsie Pearl Baker, 59, of 3209 Grace street, a resident of Boise for the last 15 years, died Thursday morning in a Boise hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Baker was born June 5, 1894, at Glencoe, Okla. She moved to Nampa from Stillwater, Okla., 18 years ago and came to Boise in 1938.
She was a member of the Baptist church, Ada Rebekah lodge , No. 80 of Boise, Royal Neighbors of America and the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary.
Surviving are four sons, Charles C. Baker in Texas, Darrell D. Baker of Salmon and Robert Lee Baker and Raymond D. Baker, both of Boise; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Juanita Kerns and Mrs. Opal Louise Cosby, both of Boise; three brothers, Charles E. Dillman of Cottage Grove, Ore., John Dillman of Glenn Ellen, Cal., and Earl Dillman of Nampa; three sisters, Miss Effie Grace Dillman of Glencoe, Okla., Mrs. Ruth Ellidge of Stillwater, Okla., and Mrs. Opal Pauline Mills of Newburg, Ore., and nine grandchildren.
Summers chapel is arranging services.
