Burial in Grapeland City Cemetery was under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Grapeland. She was born May 15, 1920 in Houston County to the late Arwine and Cora Estell Skidmore. Mrs. Walton, was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Grapeland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Walton in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kay Sheridan and husband Neal; son, David Walton and wife, Georgia; sister, Ouita Odell; brother, John Skidmore; grandchildren, Dianna Kiel and husband Gregg, Stewart Davis and wife Dorothy, David Walton and wife Marci, John Paul Walton and wife Joeanna, Lewis Goins and wife Jessica, and Kelly Cail; and several great grandchildren.
