Norma Ann "Duck" Champion, 75, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Robert C. Champion, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Anderson County to the late Dailey and Lorena B. Yeager Sea Champion. She was a homemaker, a member of Fox Creek Christian Church, and a 1956 graduate of Western High School.

She is survived by two daughters, Regina Champion (Robert) Edington, Lisa (Lonnie Joe) Case; a son, Robert Clark "Robbie" (Terri Peach) Champion; a sister, Joyce (Billy) Stratton; a brother Forrest M. (Elizabeth) Sea, all of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren, Amanda Champion, Louisville, Jeremy (Angie) Champion, Salvisa, Rayna (Adam) Warford, Ramsey, Logan Case and Landon Case, all of Lawrenceburg.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Ethelene Hughes, Rene Chowning, Lelia Atterly, Sarah Carney, and Nina Hyatt; and two brothers, Millard Sea and Linton Sea.

Funeral services were Friday at Gash Memorial chapel with Bro. Don Wells and Bro. Grant Mathes officiating. Burial was in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Casket-bearers were Jeremy Champion, Logan Case, Landon Case, Adam Warford, James Tinsley and Gary Sea. Honorary bearers were Amanda Champion, Rayna Warford, Ramsey Edington, Margaret Woodside, Sadie Tinsley, Ann Kirby, Libby Sea, Jill Carney, Judy Penwell, Dana Lyens, Sandy Humston, Tamara Currens and Mary Jane Votaw. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer Association or the American Diabetes Association.
