Carrie P. Campbell, 73, 2609 W. 27th Street, died at Ball Hospital yesterday after a long illness. Mrs. Campbell was a native of Muncie and had lived here all her life. She had worked at Ball Brothers (now Ball Corp.) and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. plant here during World War II. She had attended the Indiana School for the Deaf. She is survived by her husband, William; six sons, Jerry, Michael, Donald, Isaac and Larry, Muncie; and Master Sgt. Delmar Campbell, Bellingham, Wash.; two daughters, Mary Ellen Hartley, Muncie, and Sherry Colleen Atkins, Frostproof, Fla.; two brothers, Chester Harmon, Muncie, and John Harmon, Akron, Ohio; 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Services will be at 3 pm Wednesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Calling at the mortuary is tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm.
