Son of Constantine CLARKSON 1762 – 1836 (revolutionary war veteran) and Rhoda JOHNSON 1789 – 1840. Husband of Theresa Pevehouse Clarkson. Married August 15, 1844 in Adams County, Illinois. To this union 4 known children were born. He was previously married to Abigail Jobe in about 1824. To this union 7 known children were born. He preceded Theresa in death. She is buried in Brashear Cemetery, Adair County, Missouri.
