Alvin Iverson, age 93 of Woodville, formerly of North Hudson, died Sunday January 22, 2012, with family at his side.

Alvin was born on May 27, 1918 in Woodville, the youngest son of John and Mathea (Olson) Iverson. After graduation from high school, he entered the U.S. Army, proudly serving during World War II.

On May 10, 1945 he married Lois Gullickson of Woodville. They were blessed with two children; Jim and Kristi.
