MADISON/CAPE CORAL, FLORIDA — Anna B. Shepard, age 74, a long time Madison resident, died on Saturday, July 15, 1989 at Skaalen Sunset Home in Stoughton. She was born on December 7, 1914 in Windsor, Wisconsin and had lived in Madison until moving to Pardeeville in 1960, and later became a resident of Cape Coral, Florida in 1972. She was the former Anna Beld, and was married to Lyle Shepard in 1933; he preceded her in death in January, 1986. Mrs. Shepard was a member of the Wisconsin Club in Cape Coral, Florida. Surviving her is a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Franklin Hanson of Cape Coral, Florida; two grandchildren, Mark (Cathy) Hanson of California, Maryland, and Heidi Hanson of Fort Myers, Florida; two great-grandchildren, David, and Amanda Hanson; two sisters, Sally (George) Taylor, and Ida Bosben, both of Madison; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 1989, with the Reverand Walter Larson officiating.
