Mrs. Elise Crocket, of Orlando, Oklahoma, was buried here Tuesday afternoon in the Americus cemetery, She was the daughter of E. H. Birckett of that place. Her parents formerly lived here about 13 years ago, and while they were here, her mother died, and was buried here. Mrs. Crocket had been ailing for some time, and was taken to Kansas City for treatment which had been deferred too long, as she was unable to pass through the ordeal. The remains were brought in Tuesday afternoon and buried in the Americus cemetery beside those of her mother. Mr. E.H. Birckett is a brother of L.A. Bircket(t) of this place. She leaves three brothers, Marion, Sanford and Clarence, besides her father. The brothers and father were present at the funeral.
