Shirley Ann Scherer, of Westerville, and a former Galion resident, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at her residence. She married Glen David Scherer on September 14, 1957. She is survived by her 2 daughters and one son along with their spouses, all of Westerville. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Glen in 2014, a daughter, Shirley Ann Scherer in 1959, her parents, Edward and Vivian (Mattocks) Yunker, her brother Thomas Yunker and her sister, Janis Yunker.
Shirley was a 1956 graduate of Galion High School and attended The Ohio State University. She was a lifetime Galion resident until moving to Westerville with Glen in 2002.
