Memorial note added by Clyde L. Riley, Jr. - Daddy was a City of Manning Police Officer in the mid 1940's when he met Mama at the "Coffee Shop" in Manning.
Daddy, I was very small when you went to live with the lord.
I miss you very much, Will see you someday soon in Heaven.
Daddy was accidentally killed while repairing a floor sander in B.C. Moore's Department Store in Timmonsville, SC on May 26, 1953, one week to the very day his Mother passed away. Daddy left behind my Mother with two small children and one on the way. This was a very devistating time in our life.
