Mrs. Maude Priestley, age 87, was a native of northeast Louisiana and a resident of Monroe, Louisiana. She worked for years as an accountant with the Louisiana Hightway Dept. until she retired. The remainder of her life, she did what she loved best, being involved with and enjoying her children and grandchildren, who were her heartbeat.
Mrs. Priestley was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Graves Crenshaw and Beatrix Callie Crenshaw; her beloved twin brother, Claude J. Crenshaw; sister-in-law, "Tootsie"; and sister, Mae Crenshaw Short.
Survivers are her son, Harold Priestley and cherished daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Priestley; daughter, Peggy Vallery and Lane Bush; daughter, Vicki Stamper and her beloved son-in-law, Glenn Stamper; brother, Paul Crenshaw; four grandsons, Chad Priestley and wife, Lori, Chris Vallery and wife, Amanda, Jason Stamper, Timothy Stamper and wife, Sarah; two granddaughters, Holly Priestley and Amy Vallery; six great-grandchildren, Caleb Glenn Stamper, Hailey and Westley Priestley, Hannah Hodnett, Jesse Vallery and Ashton Vallery; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
