Thomas Dee "Tom" Barker, 72, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Annetta Cemetery in Aledo. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood. Tom was born Feb. 11, 1944, in Fort Worth to Thomas and Hazel Barker. He was show superintendent for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo for 31 years. He was a lifetime member of TRBA, he was member of NFFGRB, TFGRC and GGT. Tom was the show superintendent for the State Fair of Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta "Bobbie" Ann Barker; parents, Thomas and Hazel Barker; in-laws, Bunk and Dorothy Newman; sister, Myrtle Messer. Survivors: Daughter, Rhonda Griffeth and husband, Larry; son, Bubba Barker and fiancee, Kory; daughter, Sabra Boyles and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Sarah, Weston, Samantha, Jason, Corrie, Jamie, Jeff, Stefan, Zach, Austin, Melanie, Deiter, Brecca, Kaylie and Josh; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Wiley and husband, Melvin Jr.; sisters-in-law, Rita and Larry Dawson, Martha and James Williams, Helen Newman and Donna Lindley; numerous nieces and nephews.
