Roger C. Davis, 76, of Stuart, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Oklahoma City. Roger was born to P.R. and Tommie (Daniels) Davis on February 24, 1940 in Stuart. He graduated from Stuart High School in 1958. He had served as State FFA officer in 1957 and 1958. Roger farmed and ranched, and owned and operated the Stuart Farm and Ranch Feed Store until retiring in 2000. He continued to ranch and raise cattle. Roger was proud of his Choctaw heritage and was a member of the Stuart Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents: P. R. and Tommie Davis, a son: Roger Kent Davis, an infant grandson: Jacob Davis, and sisters: Margaret Ray and Louise Davis. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 9 at Stuart School Gymnasium officiated by Chris Rampey and Kelly Benson. Interment will be at Pryor Cemetery.
