Dale Wayne Bellis was born July 10, 1935 on the family farm in Lawrence County, Missouri to Henry Stewart and Bernice Grace (Moore) Bellis. His sisters, Doris and Avanell, were just a few years older than he with baby sister, Joyce, coming later.
Dale married Dorothy Lou Williams March 17, 1955 at Orange Cumberland Presbyterian Church where they were lifelong members.
Dale worked at MWM Dexter, retiring after 46 years of service. He was also a lifetime cattleman, coming from generations of farmers.
Dale is survived by three children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren with one on the way.
A funeral service under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Orange Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial to follow at the Orange Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Orange Cumberland Presbyterian Church in care of the funeral home.
